Description: Rare Roberto Clemente auto. postcard c.1956. One of only two signed examples of this early playing career postcard that we have encountered picturing a youthful Clemente posed in Pirates uniform. Signed across the front in blue ink, With my best regards, Roberto Clemente". Signature rates 7/8 out of 10. Reverse is hand addressed and postmarked 1956. Card itself remains clean with a slight imperfection at the top right corner where a vintage postage stamp once was adhered. Includes LOA from JSA: Card: EX, Signature: EX/MT-NM
