Description: 1938 Bill Dickey American League All-Star game ring. Original 10K gold ring presented to Dickey as a member of the 1938 AL All-Star team. Decorative top panel has "Cincinnati 1938" within a baseball shaped design encircled by "All-Star Game American League" lettering. Inscribed, "Bill Dickey" on the interior ring band and marked Dieges & Clust 10K. The ring itself remains in fine original condition with some typical surface wear to the lettering and decor on the top panel. Issued to Dickey for the 1938 mid-summer classic in which the NL won behind hometown pitcher Johnny Vandermeer by a mark of 4-1.
