Description: 1978 Elston Howard New York Yankees home pants. Pinstriped home pants issued to Yankees catcher Elston Howard for the 1978 season. Interior waistband displays a strip tag with "Howard 78 2 24" tagging along with a Wilson mfg. tag. Additionally, "16" is written in black marker inside the waist indicating that Whitey Ford may have been given the offered pants (after use by Howard) to be worn in an Old Timers Day/Coaching event.
