Description: Fine 1979 Thurman Munson New York Yankees road jersey. Grey knit jersey retains its original "New York" applied lettering across the front with "15" on the reverse. "Munson 79 2" is chain stitched onto a grey strip tag inside the collar. Wilson size tagging remains affixed to the tail front. The shirt remains in original condition exhibiting moderate to heavy use/wash wear inclusive of 'puckering' to the lettering/tagging/ numerals, several areas of small staining spots, general light surface 'pilling' from wear, and appropriate age toning.
