Description: Stunning 1978 New York Yankees team auto. baseball. Blazing white MacPhail AL ball signed by (19) members of the World Champion Yankees incl. Munson, Jackson, Hunter, Nettles, Gossage, Michael, and Lindblad. Sigs range from 8-10 out of 10, except for Jackson which rates 6/7 out of 10 and is signed on the mfg. stampings sweet spot. Based on the sweet spot positioning of Thurman Munson's signature, and the immaculate condition in which the ball was preserved, there is little doubt about its importance to Thurman. 1978 Yankees team signed baseballs of quality are exceedingly scarce with the offered example ranking as the finest we have encountered with regard to condition grade and direct provenance from the "Captain" Thurman Munson.
