Description: Thurman Munson New York Yankees game worn undershirt c.1970s. Original wool undershirt as worn by Munson with the New York Yankees has navy blue sleeves and a grey body. Retains its original McAuliffe mfg. tagging below the button strip. "MUNSON 15" is written in period black marker across the front and repeated across the collar area on the back. The shirt exhibits evident use including wash wear and color bleeding to the back. The tail area of the shirt has been trimmed in the period. Includes LOA from Hunt Auctions and letter of provenance from Diana Munson: VG-EX
