Offered is an unprecedented quantity of original Negro League player contracts each signed by Syd Pollock and the respective player. Includes (1) Cuban Giants Uniform Player contract (scratched out and Ind. Clowns written in); (5) Negro American League Player contracts; and (70) Indianapolis Clowns player contracts. Players incl. Roosevelt Mack, Donald Feabry, John King, Harold King, Alphonse Fletcher, and George Wanamaker. The lot also includes a related grouping of correspondence and papers including numerous player handwritten letters to Pollock. Fine lot with outstanding breakdown value.
