Signature rates 10 out of 10 remaining very bold. Period inscription on a side panel by Commissioner Kuhn reads, "1st Ball By Stengel-World Series 10/16/73 Shea Stadium". The Mets were playing their first home game of the Series behind their ace Tom Seaver only to be outgunned by the A's Catfish Hunter.
