Description: Significant bronze baseball sculpture presented to Commissioner Bowie Kuhn by the 1978 New York Yankees. Fine quality cast bronze figural statue titled "Right Field Bleachers" by Thomas Schomberg. The bronze depicts a left handed batter standing an impressive 24" tall atop a mahogany base. The base has an engraved placard, "To the Office of The Commissioner of Baseball, On This, The Occasion of the 75th World Series Presented by the 1978 New York Yankees World Champions". Handsome piece presented by the legendary 1978 World Champion Yankees which occupied a place of prominence in both the office and home of Commissioner Bowie Kuhn.
