Description: Lot of (7) sets of presentational cufflinks given to Bowie Kuhn by Japanese Baseball Commissioner Takeso Shimoda c.1970-80s. Fine quality grouping consists of various Japanese baseball themed cufflinks and tie pins/bars, most of which were issued in conjunction with the All-Nippon Series All-Star games played between the U.S. and Japan. Subjects include: Yomiuri Giants, inset pearl tie bar and pin set, and (2) sets with inset baseball shaped graphics. Two of the sets are missing the tie bar and the Giants set has a surface chip to the onyx in the tie bar. Includes a business card inscribed to Kuhn from Shimoda and a letter of provenance from the Kuhn family: Range EX-NM/MT
