Description: Bowie Kuhn "Adirondack Big Stick" award piece c.1969. Attractive 36" tall award presented to Commissioner Kuhn in celebration of the 1969 Baseball Centennial. The award is comprised of three Bowie Kuhn Adirondack model bats atop a base shaped plinth. Applied diamond shaped metal placard is inscribed to Kuhn, "Presented to Bowie Kuhn Commissioner of Baseball for his Meritorious Service to the Game of Baseball in its 100th Year January 14, 1970".
