Description: Ty Cobb auto. handwritten letter c.1952. Dated May 2, 1952 handwritten letter was penned in Cobb's trademark green ink on his personal stationary. Content is very compelling and references an article that had been published about Cobb in a recent issue of Life magazine. In part, Cobb writes, "Some of the present day boys act very petulant over such! They lack quite a bit being a real star. They could but won't try. Some of Them." The letter is signed, "Respectfully, Ty Cobb". The letter is matted and framed with its original envelope (hand addressed by Cobb) and a 9"x12" reproduction photo of Cobb. Includes LOA from JSA: NM
