Incredible duo of vintage baseball signature items includes a handwritten and signed note from Walter Johnson dated 5/2/1932 which reads, "I think Joe Jackson was the best hitter I ever saw. Walter Johnson Washington Ball Club". Blue fountain pen signature and salutation rate 9 out of 10 with some period black paper archival corners remaining: EX-MT. Amazingly, the matching item is a government postcard dated 8/21/1948 sent by Joe Jackson to the same fan signed, "The best pitcher I think in my time was Walter Johnson of Washington D.C. Yours Very Truly Joe Jackson". The signature (signed by his wife Katie Jackson) rates 9 out of 10: EX/MT-NM. Fascinating pair of signed items serve as an incredible testament to the two legendary players. Includes LOA from JSA.
