Description: Roberto Clemente auto. baseball bat. 1971 Pittsburgh Pirates World Champions souvenir bat signed on the barrel by Roberto Clemente in black ink. The signature remains notably strong rating 7/8 out of 10 and contrasting perfectly against the blond finish Adirondack bat. The bat itself measures 34" long and is stamped "Thomas Benamati" (to whom it was likely presented) on the barrel end. Clemente signed bats are exceedingly rare with the offered example rating as one of the better condition pieces that we have encountered. Includes LOA from James Spence Authentication: EX-MT
