Description: 1983 Cal Ripken Sr. Balt. Orioles home jersey. White knit shirt retains team name on the front along with #47. Back of the shirt has "Ripken" nameplate above #47. Original Rawlings tag remains affixed inside the tail front along with "Set 1 1983" flag tag. Jersey exhibits evident use incl. toning, wash wear, and appropriate age fading. Interestingly, a breast pocket was sewn on the inside front of the shirt, which was believed to have housed Ripken Sr.'s cigarette packages.
