Manager B.Bavasi. The lot also includes a May 14, 1949 contract assignment from the Montreal Royals to the Brooklyn Dodgers. The assignment is also signed by Bavasi. The lot includes an original 1949 image of Newcombe in Montreal uniform. Interesting early Major League career document relating to one of the most dominant pitchers of the 1950s era.
