Description: Rare Duke Snider professional model baseball glove. Desirable Duke Snider game used glove dating to the late 1950s-early 1960s as obtained by teammate Joe Pignatano. The glove is a Rawlings DSX Duke Snider personal model glove retaining its original stampings on the interior. The glove exhibits evident usage including pocket wear while remaining in beautiful all original condition. "Snider" is written in period black marker on the back strap in Duke's own hand. "4" is written in period black marker on the back of the thumb area and is clearly visible along with some light, indiscernible writing. Retains its original Rawlings label on the backstrap. The offered Snider game glove is just the second of its type to have entered the marketplace in addition to another example which we handled several years ago.
