Description: Joe DiMaggio 56 game hit streak presentational display c.1960s-70s. Louisville Slugger Joe DiMaggio 125 model bat with custom gilt finish as presented to Joe DiMaggio. The bat is impressed on the barrel end, "Record Batting Streak 56 Consecutive Games May 15 thru July 16, 1941". Mounted on a 10"x36" mahogany wall plaque. Includes a vintage black and white photo picturing Joe DiMaggio holding the plaque in a Yankees uniform at an Old Timers or similar event.
