Description: Joe Pignatano's 1959 Los Angeles Dodgers road uniform worn in the World Series. Full grey flannel uniform as worn by Pignatano during the 1959 season and subsequently the 1959 World Series against the White Sox. Jersey retains its original team name across the front in blue along with red #58. Back of the shirt has the original #58 in blue. Tail front has Spalding tag along with "42" flag tag and "Pignatano 59" chain stitched into the jersey. Interior of the tail retains dry clean tag with "Set 1 1959" flag tag. Matching pants retain their Spalding tag with "Pignatano 24" strip tag. The lot also includes Joe's matching L.A. Dodgers hat with Tim McAuliffe tagging on the inside of the interior leather band. The original blue Dodgers socks are also included. Uniform exhibits light to moderate usage while retaining a fine overall eye appeal.
