Description: Ron Santo professional model baseball bat c. 1971-73. Adirondack model 302 bat measures 35" long and weighs 34.4oz. Bat exhibits superb usage incl. pine tar residue, handle crack, ball marks, and cleat marks. Knob end has 257A stamped along with #10 written in period marker. "257A" was written near the centerbrand area by the Cubs equipment manager. Very fine example of a Santo game used bat which originated directly from a National League batboy in the period.
