Description: Rod Carew professional model baseball bat c. 1977-79. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measures 34 1/2" long and weighs 32.2oz. Bat shows evident usage incl. pine tar residue, handle fissure, rack marks, ball marks, and a tiny area of deadwood on the back of the barrel. Carew has signed the barrel of the bat in green ink rating 6 out of 10. Knob end has #29 written in black marker, barrel has model C243. Rod Carew may very well be the most under appreciated batsman in baseball history. His lifetime totals are the type of fantasy leagues: .328 batting average, 3,053 hits, 445 doubles, 1,015 RBI's, 15 All-Star appearances, and a staggering seven AL batting titles.
