Description: Eddie Collins Jr. Phila. Athletics home jersey c.1942. Cream color flannel shirt with original "A" on front and #14 on the reverse. Goldsmith tag with size 44 flag tag remains inside the collar along with a tattered silver tag. Jersey exhibits evident usage and age wear including some toning and minor moth damage to the #14 on back. Stars and bars uniform patch is missing from the left sleeve (outline faintly visible) and sleeves have been slightly shortened in the period most likely by Collins. Clean all original A's shirt from the son of HOF'er Eddie Collins which originated from the collection of Joe Dugan. Includes LOA from Hunt Auctions: EX
