Description: Rare 1913 Philadelphia Athletics "World's Champions" trophy ball. Wonderful folk art hand painted wooden ball with red and black stitching and gilt background paint. Elephant symbol painted on back side has losses to its' gold leaf paint but is clearly visible. Ball retains a desirable original surface with light age wear to the paint, very unusual early trophy ball relating to the A's dynasty: EX
