Description: 1914 Lord Lonsdale Championship boxing belt. Very high quality tooled leather belt with (5) silver placards attached hat include two engraved boxer images, names of the participants and the winner Tommy Mullen, and the central placard which has two enamelwork British flags flanking a boxing ring with enamelwork fighters. Belt itself has a few areas of minor dryness and the placards have some typical light surface wear. 7"x38", impressive early boxing presentational award piece. 1914 Middle Weight Championship boxing belt of England. The belt was sponsored by Lord Lonsdale of the English parliament with the Middleweight division ranking as the highest in England.
