Description: Fine 1926 National League Golden Jubilee Boxed Presentational Baseball set. Rare presentational boxed baseball set given to attendees of the February 2, 1926 National League 50th Anniversary celebration held in New York at the Hotel Astor. Past and present baseball luminaries attended and were given the offered baseball set. Box is a hinged lid gilt decorated paperboard box with blue velvet lined ball reservoir. Includes NL baseball with John Heydler's stamp on the Spalding logo panel and another Heydler NL ball with applied photographic decals of the past NL Presidents incl. Hulbert, Pulliam, and Tener. Each ball has some light age toning with decals remaining uncommonly clean having strong contrast. Box has some typical age wear incl. one loose apron and some misc. abrasions incl. top of lid. Seldom offered set of historic commemorative baseballs: Balls:EX-EX/MT, Box: VG-EX
