Description: Superb Ty Cobb game used baseball bat c. 1923-25. Beautiful uncracked 34 1/4" Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with bold original manufacturer and facsimile autograph stampings. Bat retains a fantastically rare original surface with scored handle and wear characteristics original to the period of usage to the degree that you can smell the residue from the Ban Johnson baseballs that were scattered throughout the playing field by this piece of treasured lumber. Bat originated from the Harry Evans collection and retains the original Evans baseball shaped tag which reads "Bat Used By Ty Cobb".
