Description: 1914 Les Mann Boston "Miracle" Braves full length warm up overcoat. Incredible rarity believed to be the only surviving example of this jacket style usually only marvelled at in period photographs. Jacket is very heavy wool with geometrical patterns in red, black, grey, and green on olive green background. "Mann" chain stitched in collar, remains in basically as issued condition with only a few small holes on back and an area of separation in the back of the high back collar (repairable). These jackets were popularized by teams of the 1910-20 era incl. the Giants and Braves. **See Lot # 970 for image of Johnny Evers 1914 jacket.
