Description: Scarce Babe Ruth 1935 Boston Braves game worn hat. Navy blue hat with red bill retaining its' original embroidered white "B" on front. Interior leather band has Spalding stamping and "G.Ruth" chain stitched into leather. Hat shows good usage wear with intact bill, has tiny area of material separating at corner of the bill. Obtained by Mueller while teamates on the 1935 Boston Braves, one of only a handfull of authentic Ruth hats extant and must be considered on of the finest of the group given the provenance and overall condition. A true rarity. Includes letter of provenance from family, original 1935 Braves team photograph (8"x10" framed) whichy pictures Ruth and Mueller, and LOA from Global David Bushing/Dan Knoll/Mike Baker: EX
