Sepia tone 11"x14" photograph showing Christy Mathewson at the height of his career with the New York Giants. A fine art like quality is displayed with exceptional contrast. "Unity N.Y." mark is printed within along with a notation that reads "Presented by Christy's Mother." Wear throughout including wrinkles and creasing. Chipping and small tears to the perimeter and there is one larger (1" tear) at lower left. Authenticated by PSA/DNA with "Type I" designation and includes Mathewson Collection certificate of provenance: GD
