Description: September 30, 1921 Giants vs. Braves "Christy Mathewson Testimonial" game program. Original program issued for a tribute game played at The Polo Grounds which featured a team of Giants "Old-Timers" vs. their 1921 squad. It was a five inning affair (won by the Old Timers) which took place before that days' regulation game between New York and Boston (which was called due to rain). Mathewson is pictured on both the front and back covers along with several times inside. General handling and storage wear includes a vertical fold, some additional wrinkles and minor creases, and mild discoloration. Includes a printed lineup of the Old Timers and Mathewson Collection certificate of provenance: GD
