Description: Exquisite Victorian ladies hair comb with baseball motif c.1870 Intricate ladies hair comb fashioned from horn material having two 19th century uniformed baseball players with the décor. Twp players appearing in throwing motion at top with two players diving into base. Additional floral décor and two pointer dogs at bottom. Superb overall condition given its age/fragility with one hair comb piece missing and one sliding player missing legs at top left. 8" tall and held as one of Bill and Millie Gladstone's favorite rarities within the collection.
