Description: Mickey Mantle and Willie Mays "Bat And Ball Outfits" advertising poster c.1960s. Point of sale advertising piece done to promote the line of Mantle and Mays endorsed children's bat and ball sets produced by Transogram. There are portrait images of the noted players on either side of the top with text below noting the product is "The Champions Choice" and all (3) models/versions are detailed along the bottom. Done on heavy stock measuring approx. 15"x18.5" with scattered wear including mounting holes at corners, some mild spotting/discoloration, and a few other flaws. Presently displayed in an 27"x31" frame (note - the piece is "floated" with corners however it has come loose): GD with superior display valueEstimated Price Range: ($2,000-$3,000)
