Description:Vin Scully Brooklyn Dodgers presentational ring c.1950s. Attractive 14K gold ring as presented to Vin Scully as a member of the Brooklyn Dodgers organization in the early 1950s. The ring is nearly identical to the rings issued to the Dodgers for their historic 1947 season in which Jackie Robinson debuted and they won the NL Championship. Ring top displays small diamond of approx. .23 carat size inset onto a blue field with “Brooklyn Baseball Club” lettering encircling. Each side panel features "Dodgers" team name inlaid in blue enamelwork. Interior ring band is stamped Dieges & Clust 14K, size 7 3/4. Very desirable and rare Brooklyn Dodgers ring of special note as it was the first presented to Vin Scully as a member of the franchise with which he would spend the next 66 years.
