Description: Christy and Gilbert Mathewson photograph c.1924 (PSA/DNA "Type I"). Sepia toned 6"x8" photograph showing Christy Mathewson and his father seated in the stands at Boston Field watching the Braves play during Matty's short tenure as President of the club. Original paper caption is affixed to the front along the lower edge and there is a "Keystone View Co." stamp on the back. Light general wear and there is a small amount of paper residue on each corner which is the result of prior mounting. Authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA with "Type I" designation. Includes Mathewson Collection certificate of provenance: VG/EX with note to corner residue
