Description: Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris "Home Run Derby" game in rare original wrapping c.1962. Vintage baseball game was endorsed by Mantle and Maris at the height of their fame following the 1961 season. Both are depicted on the outer wrapping along with their facsimile signatures. While the game board can be found it is very seldom seen in the original wrapper and this is the first example which we can recall offering. Very nice overall display value despite some holes/slits to the wrapping (the largest running along approx. 8" of the lower edge). There is some additional scattered storage and handling wear. Includes a custom made 20"x20"x4.25" Lucite display case (case has a few minor flaws and some very small pieces of tape residue which was used to secure the open panel to the balance: VGEstimated Price Range: ($500-$750)
