Description: "The First Touch" rugby/football Stevengraph, c.1890s-1900s. Intricate silk embroidery depicts a game in progress with a player running in the direction of a touchdown. Displayed within approx. 7"x10" frame, and appears in very fine overall condition with little mentionable wear to the front. The frame has a clear glass back, making the reverse of the piece visible, showing a checklist of the silk-woven pictures in the series (handwritten notations can be seen including a 1904 date): EX/MTEstimated Price Range: ($750-$1,500)
