Description: Vintage Baseball "Sketch A Player" unopened set c.1950s (VG-EX). Very scarce item to find, especially unopened. The packaging depicts Eddie Mathews, Willie Mays, Yogi Berra, Gil Hodges, Ted Kluszewski, Jim Piersall, Harvey Kuenn, Gran Hamner, Hank Sauer, Gus Zernial, Minnie Minoso, and Bob Avila. The set consists of "4 Beautiful Portraits of Your Favorite Ball Players", a pack of Cra-O-Tec Crayons, and a crayon holder. The 4 player portraits included in this set are Bob Avila, Mike Garcia, Larry Doby, and Dale Mitchell (as noted on the packaging). Original "Jan-Bar Toy" 29-cent label remains affixed to the top. A great display item exhibiting some handling wear. The top paper label exhibits scattered creasing and a few tears. The plastic outer packaging exhibits scattered age toning spots.
