Description: 1939 Baseball All-Star Game program (VG/EX).Foldout program was issued for the game played at New York with the American League defeating the National League in a pitching duel by a score of 3 to 1. The 1939 All-Star game was also notable in that Lou Gehrig served as the honorary captain after removing himself from the Yankees lineup earlier in the season. Program is scored in pencil. Exhibits light to moderate handling wear including a few small areas of browning and light creasing to the cover. There are two small edge tears on the back cover: VG/EXFinal Bid: $182.00
