Description: 1924 Washington Post World Series headline pages documenting the Senators Championship - in custom album (See description) Large (21.5"x25") faux leather hardcover folio has "1924 World Series" impressed on the front cover, inlayed with gold color. Bound within are (7) front pages from The Washington Post, each with a great headline that details the Senators progress as they headed towards the first World Series Championship in franchise history. Each remains in collectible condition but shows the expected toning and wear one would typically see in newsprint from this era including chipping (mostly minor, in some cases more extreme), toning, fold lines, etc. Also included are a number of pictorial pages/sections related to the series (these have not been removed to individually inspect - there are portions of at least two, possibly more) which show heavier wear/flaws. Some light wear to folio: See description ($400-$600)
