Description: Large framed Alan Shepherd "First American in Space" signed letter and photo display (Sig. MT). Beautiful and historical display piece features a handwritten letter from Shepherd on his personal letterhead wishing a couple best wishes in their "Golden Anniversary." Letter has been signed by Shepherd in silver marker, with signature rating 9 out of 10. Also mounted in the 26"x27" frame are a B&W photo of Shepherd and bio-plate listing his career accomplishments as the first American in space in 1961. He also became the oldest person to walk on the moon in 1971. Display piece appears EX/MT, though complete condition is unknown due to framing.Final Bid: $177.00
