Description: c.1950s Ty Cobb 125 model Louisville Slugger bat turned into folk art lamp (attributed to Eddie Joost) (EX) Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with Cobb facsimile signature in the barrel has been turned into a lamp with 20.5" of the barrel and upper handle serving as the upright portion. The knob holds shade in place. Mounted to homeplate shaped base with a pair of baseball attached. An included letter issued by Grey Flannel for their November 2011 auction states that it was a Cobb Coaches' bat given to Eddie Joost c.1955 who then converted it into the lamp.
