Description: 1958 Andy Carey New York Yankees professional model home jersey - World Series Championship season (EX, see description) Desirable pinstriped home flannel has the Yankees original "NY" logo on the left front chest. In the collar is a "Carey" embroidered strip tag and the year "58" is chain stitch on the front tail. Also on front is a Spalding tag (loose at sides) and size (44) tag. Wash tag inside has adjacent "Set 1 1958" flag tag. Well preserved and offering exceptional display value with use and some general age related wear including a few very minor stains and moth holes. There is a team repair to one shoulder on the back. The player number on back has been changed (likely done by the team when it was sent for use in the Minor Leagues). Carey was the Yankees regular third baseman throughout the 1950s and played on their 1956 and 1958 World Series Championship teams: EX, see description ($2,000-$3,000)Final Bid: $1,574.00
