Description: Lot of (5) Jack Johnson and Jim Jeffries 1910 Heavyweight Championship bout real photo postcards (PR-GD) Nice selection of real photo postcards which were done in the period (c.1910s) showing views from the fight. Each has "Dana" mark and a number/caption printed within. Includes #8 Johnson Jeffries Contest (SGC 1 PR); #9 Jeffries Corner (SGC 2.5 GD+), #17 Jeffries - Johnson Round (15) (SGC 1.5 FR); #46 Johnson's Corner (SGC 2 GD); and #67 Jeffries being led to his corner (SGC 2 GD). Varying degrees/types of wear with backs primarily effected thus leaving the fronts with far greater eye appeal than technical grade might suggest. Includes an additional postcard which appears to show Johnson from behind during the fight however there is no Dana mark and SGC declined to encapsulate this piece: PR-GD ($500-$1,000)Final Bid: $983.00
