Description: 1958 Pittsburgh Pirates professional model home jersey (VG-EX, see description) Cream colored vest style jersey with "Pirates" team name across the front has some of the original yellow and black accent pipping in place (portion have fallen off). On the lower front tail is a Rawlings tag with adjacent size "42" tag. Embroidered below is player number "31" to whom to jersey would have originally been issued (worn by Whammy Douglas, Ken Hamlin, and Laurin Pepper during the 1958 season). The number presently on back (48) was changed by the team for use in a subsequent Spring Training and/or season.
