Description: Bing Miller sidewritten 1921 Rookie season professional model baseball bat with original mailing label affixed (EX) Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with early dash-dot-dash centerbrand (1917-21) measures 35.5" long and weighs 37oz. Outstanding use is evident throughout and there is pine tar residue on the handle which has a crack in the upper portion that was long ago repaired with nails. Clearly visible sidewriting reads "37oz Edmund Miller 6/13/21 Washington A.M.L. BBC." The original mailing label is affixed (uncommonly well preserved remaining almost fully intact) which was used by Miller to return the bat to Louisville Slugger. Miller debuted with Washington in 1921 and then joined the Philadelphia Athletics with whom he would go on to win a pair of World Series Championships.
