Description: Vintage autograph collection (36 signers) including Herbert Hoover, Orson Welles, Douglas MacArthur, and other notables (EX-NM) String bound album (11"x14") has a number of autographs affixed inside incl. Herbert Hoover (this page is loose), Ogden Nash, J.Edgar Hoover, Richard Byrd, James Doolittle, Alexander De Seversky, Marian Anderson, Jascha Heifetz, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Water Damrosch, Eddie Rickenbacker, Thomas Mann, Elizabeth Kenny, Clare Boothe Luce, Orson Welles, Douglas MacArthur, Helen Hayes, Irving Berlin, Milton Caniff (2), Arturo Toscanini, Fred Astaire, Emily Post, Fritz Kreisler, Kay Kyser, Cordell Hull, Lionel Barrymore, Howard Hanson, Vilhjalmur Stefansson, Lloyd Douglas, Roy Chapman Andrews, Fibber McGee, Chester Hughes, Jimmy Durante, Jack Benny, and Robert Ripley. These have been screened for authenticity with those noted above believed to be authentic however given unfamiliarity with some signers it is possible that there a few secreterial examples mixed in. There are additional pieces (not noted above) which have stamped, printed, or otherwise non-authentic signatures of Walt Disney, Lawrence Tibbett, and Alec Templeton.
