Description: George Harrison, Lauda, Scheckter & Ronnie Peterson Signed 1977 U.S. Grand Prix Program (EX-NM) Former Beatle George Harrison, a known motorcycle and car race enthusiast has signed this Official 1977 Grand Prix of the United States racing program from Watkins Glen, New York on the same page that is also signed by famed Formula One driver Niki Lauda who in 1976, one year after winning his first World Championship was seriously injured in a crash at the 1976 German Grand Prix during which his Ferrari burst into flames. Miraculously, he returned to racing six weeks later at the Italian Grand Prix. Lauda is still the only driver to have been Champion for both Ferrari and McLaren being the first to bring a Ferrari into the winner+s circle in the American Grand Prix. Lauda+s real life racing drama was the subject of the 2013 film, -Rush.+ Additional signatures include famed drivers Jody Scheckter who was the 1979 Formula One World Drivers Champion and the rare signature of Ronnie Peterson, a former Grand Prix of the United States winner who was the victim of a fatal first-lap accident at the 1978 Italian Grand Prix after winning both the 1978 South African and Austrian Grand Prix races.
