Description: Rare Ted Williams "Brylcreem" cardboard advertising display piece c.1950s (FR) Large 14 1/2" x23 1/2" cardboard sign depicting Ted Williams posed in Boston Red Sox uniform advertising Brylcreem hair lotion. Water damage throughout includes discoloration and there is curling up of the upper surface along with some tears/chips to the lower portion. Outline of original easel back (missing) is visible on the reverse. The only example of this particular promotional piece which we have seen: FR ($500-$750)Final Bid: $690.00
