Description: Lot of (2) early c.1900s African American baseball player photographs (FR and VG) Pair of sepia toned approx. 4.25"x6.25" images showing players in action are both mounted to period backing. The jersey fronts read "L V" and it believed that the distillery visible in the background of one image is "Sunny Brook Distillery." Eclipse/Elliot Park in Louisville was located a block from this distillery and it is possible that the players shown were members of the Louisville White Sox. One image has light toning and wear with a spot of rust/residue near the center. The other has heavy wear which includes some small tears/creases/chips along the top edges: FR and VGFinal Bid: $226.00
