World War I game and 1960s Mantle and Maris (GD-NM) includes 8"x10" photo of Mickey Mantle with 1954 "Detroit Free Press" stamp on back; 1961 dated image of Roger Maris with his children; cabinet mounted c.1910s image of members of the Navy baseball being played which has "Passed by Censor U.S.N." stamped on. It is marked Gujan-Mestras and likely shows a World War I era game being played in France; c.1910s-20 sepia toned photo on heavy stock showing members of "Great Northern Railway" team; acetate negative of a Ty Cobb sliding photo (with photo printed from negative) that appears to be a modern picture of a picture; 6"x8" image of Mel Ott with original (separated) 1943 dated paper caption; image of Jackie Price dated 1949 on back plus a 1952 publication which details his act; pair of images of a high school pitcher who struck out (28) batters in a (9) inning game (1948 date stamps and paper caption); 1942 dated image of Dick Barrett of the Seattle Raniers; 1937 dated photo of hometown all-star team; modern printed 8"x10" photos of Roger Maris and (4) Babe Ruth; and a few additional pieces.
